Korean Bridge Privacy Policy
PiFl Labs Co., Ltd. ("we") operates Korean Bridge, an educational app for children ages 4–8 and their grown-ups. The app is designed not to collect or transmit a child's personal information outside the app.
1. Information handled
- Stored only in app storage: grown-up help language, starting path, completed activity identifiers, learning dates and sound setting.
- If a grown-up emails support: email address, message and anything the grown-up voluntarily includes. The app does not collect this automatically.
The app does not ask for or collect a child's name, birth date, photo, voice, contacts, precise location, advertising identifier or payment information.
2. Ads, tracking, payments and permissions
There are no ads, purchases, subscriptions, accounts, analytics SDKs or behavioral tracking SDKs. The app does not request camera, voice-recording, location or contacts permission. Korean listening plays audio files synthesized before release and included in the app. The running app does not send text or data to an external voice API. The operating system's text-to-speech service is used only as a safety fallback when a bundled file is missing or cannot be played. Neither path records a child's voice.
3. Purpose and retention
Local settings are used only to show progress, arrange review, and remember language and sound choices. They are removed when a grown-up resets progress or deletes the app. The app excludes these learning records from Android cloud and device-to-device backup and provides no app-level sync on iOS. Support email records may be retained for up to three years after resolution for support and dispute handling.
4. Sharing and international transfer
We do not send, sell or share app learning data with our servers or third parties. A support email may pass through the email provider's servers under that provider's policy and the grown-up's settings. We do not disclose support information for another purpose unless required by law.
5. Children's safeguards
Grown-up settings, language changes and progress reset sit behind an adult math check. Children's screens contain no purchases or external links. Wrong answers do not remove points or shame a child. The app does not replace a school or teacher.
6. Grown-up rights and deletion
A grown-up can reset progress immediately in the grown-up area or erase local data by deleting the app. To request access, correction, deletion or restriction of support-email information, contact the privacy address below.
